Avastin Patient Website
Avastin is a drug created by Genentech to help patients with various types of cancers. The patient information site redesign aimed to connect with and engage patients, utilizing real patient imagery and stories. We created a simple, interactive layout with the goal of keeping the site's sections distinct yet unified.
We enhanced the site flow with Javascript to transition content without reloading the page, giving the user a visually appealing and seamless experience. We also harnessed the power of the Apache Sling framework to manage and store the site content, which helped us to accelerate site development and content updates. Within months of deployment, visitor metrics showed better performance and site flow growth.
