BioOncology.com Redesign
Genentech BioOncology is a leader in oncology research and has multiple areas of focus. For this redesign, BioOncology wanted to create one cohesive site from their various research micro-sites. After analysis of the content (over 400 pages), we put our wireframes through rigorous user testing, which helped us define a new site navigation and reshape the content structure.
On the development side, we used Apache Sling to manage our content into separate bundles and added a custom, built-in content tagging system to provide dynamic cross-linking of relevant topics for better user exploration. The reconfigured site was then given a complete visual overhaul to tie each micro-site together as a part of the new, unified structure. The result was a website that is simple to navigate, enjoyable to use, and easy to update.
